Hi, I'm Blake Hotchin Brown, an independent editor and proofreader.

Language is a powerful tool, and there is nothing I am more passionate about than helping people craft a piece of writing that is exciting, dynamic and engaging - whether through editing your ideas or refining your spelling and grammar.

I learned my craft on the job, and for the last 15 years have worked in theatre - first as an actor, then writer, director and producer. Giving words a voice has always been my passion, resulting in me now specialising in written dialogue and stream-of-consciousness.

Born and raised in the north of England, I now live in Scotland with my wonderful husband (who told me to write that), our gorgeous as he is clumsy dog, Kobe, and a transient grey tabby named 'The Cat'.
